Terms of Service

Last updated 5 May 2026

By using Dosey you agree to these terms. They are deliberately short and plain-English. If anything's unclear, email hello@dosey.info.

Dosey is a logging tool, not medical advice. Always follow the dosage instructions on the medicine packaging and consult a healthcare professional (your GP, NHS 111, or 999 in an emergency) if you are unsure or your child is unwell.

1. The service

Dosey lets parents and guardians track when they have given their children medication, log temperatures and notes, and (with a Premium plan) sync that information with another adult in their household. The app is provided "as is": we don't promise it's bug-free or always available.

2. Your account

You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure. If you suspect someone else has access, change your password and contact us. You must be 18 or older to create a Dosey account.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

4. Free and Premium plans

The Free plan covers tracking for one child with the default medications (Calpol, Ibuprofen). The Premium plan, available as a one-time in-app purchase via Apple or Google, unlocks unlimited children and partner sync.

All purchases are processed by Apple or Google. Their refund policies apply. If you purchase Premium and request a refund, your account will revert to the Free plan and any data beyond the Free plan's limits may become read-only.

5. Medical disclaimer

Dosey records what you tell it. It does not diagnose, prescribe, or replace professional medical judgement. The dosing guidelines shown in the app are based on publicly available information from the medicine packaging at time of writing. Always cross-check against the current packaging or your pharmacist before giving a dose. We are not liable for any harm arising from following or not following the app's suggestions.

6. Your data

How we collect and use your data is described in our Privacy Policy. You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from within the app (Settings → Delete account).

7. Service changes and termination

We may update Dosey from time to time. We may also discontinue the service entirely. If we do, we'll give you reasonable notice and the ability to export your data. We may suspend your account if you violate these terms.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claim arising from your use of Dosey is limited to the amount you have paid us (if any) in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing in these terms limits our liability for fraud, gross negligence, or anything else that cannot be limited under English law.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be handled by the English courts.
